What does
BHA do?

On an everyday basis, BHA is tasked with:

  • Managing the Architectural Review process for Bald Head Association, the Harbour Association and Middle Island Property Owners’ Association
  • Ensuring that homes are maintained according to the Community Wide Standards (CWS)
  • Owning and managing the Association Center, Bald Head Island’s only community center
  • Maintaining Common Area, including the Wildlife Overlook and Master Walkway
  • Communication to and among property owner members
  • Managing over $3 million in community and neighborhood assets
  • Managing all aspects of the neighborhoods of Keeper’s Landing, Surfman’s Walk and Sumner’s Crescent.
  • Enforcing 37 unique sets of Secondary Covenants on the East End of Bald Head Island
