History

History

Established in 1982, Bald Head Association is the largest property owners' association on Bald Head Island, NC. The original property owners who came to Bald Head Island for a decade before there was electricity (in 1981) were called “The Generator Society.” It was their original vision of “living in harmony with nature” that has defined the future of the island and the need for a property owners association to protect that vision.
